You can also go to  the Blue Cross Blue Shield website and click on the FIND A DOCTOR tab or call your doctors billing office to make sure they participate.

When selecting a plan and network, should you spend a large amount of time out of state ex.( vacation home, business travel) look at PPO Plans with the “Blue Choice Network”. This will provide out of state in network coverage. As always check for network providers. BCBS now has a phone application to locate “In Network Providers” and is available for free. It is called BCBSIL.  This will use your phones location to find the closest “In Network Providers” anywhere you are.
